Bigfork, Flathead County, MT 1988

Completed design, construction management, and startup supervision of a 0.5 mgd tertiary treatment plant discharging directly into Flathead Lake. Phosphorus removal to less than 1 mg/l is achieved for protection of lake quality. Facility is operated by the Bigfork County Water and Sewer District.

Upland Hills Country Club, Upland, CA 1982

Completed design and construction for a 200,000 gpd wastewater reclamation facility for tertiary treatment serving 800 residential unit golf course subdivision in San Bernardino County. This project is unique in that facility treats also waste water generated from "upstream" located subdivision. The spanish architectural style process building is located immediately adjacent to residential homes.

Wallace Lake Estates, Calaveras County, CA 1991

Completed design and construction on a 40,000 gpd tertiary wastewater reclamation facility and a 100,000 gpd water treatment system serving a new residential subdivision near Wallace, CA. Effluent is used to irrigate common area landscaping.

Laguna Seca Ranch, Monterey, CA 1988

Completed design and construction of a 50,000 gpd tertiary wastewater reclamation facility for a housing development and golf course in Monterey, CA. Effluent meets Title 22 standards for use on the golf course.

Kern Valley Plaza, Kern County, CA 1988

Completed design and construction of 50,000 gpd secondary treatment facility for a new shopping center, low-income housing development, and mobile home park. Effluent is discharged to a subsurface leachfield.

Eagle Bend, Flathead County, MT 1984

Completed design and construction of a 50,000 gpd tertiary wastewater treatment system for a 500 unit recreational resort development on Flathead Lake, Montana. Effluent is discharged to a subsurface leachfield.

Las Palmas Ranch, Monterey County, CA 1988

Completed design and construction of a 235,000 gpd tertiary wastewater reclamation facility for a large housing development in Salinas, CA. Effluent is used for common-area and park landscaping. These facilities are operated by a private contractor for the Monterey County Public Works Department.

Sunol Golf and Country Club, Alameda County, CA 1986

Completed design and construction for expansion of a 0.20 mgd secondary wastewater treatment facility serving the clubhouse and restaurant of the Sunol Golf and Country Club. Effluent is used for irrigation of two golf courses.

Toyon Middle School, Calaveras County, CA 1984

Completed design and construction of 15,000 gpd tertiary wastewater reclamation facility for this middle school. Effluent meets Title 22 standards for irrigation.
MUNICIPAL PROJECTS - PLANNING/FEASIBILITY/DESIGN

Mount Rainier Resort at Park Junction, Elbe, WA 1994
Prepared the preliminary design and assisted with the development of the Environmental Impact Report for a 0.2 mgd tertiary wastewater reclamation system to serve a resort development near Mt. Rainier National Park. The reclaimed water will serve as irrigation supply for the golf course and landscaping.

Rite of Passage, Sierra Ridge Campus, San Andreas, CA 1999
Prepared permit applications and designed a 30,000 gpd secondary wastewater reclamation system for a private school campus in the Sierra foothills. System includes a treatment plant, 2.4 million gallon storage reservoir and 5 acres of spray fields.

KOA Campground, Santa Cruz, CA 2001
Designed a 25,000 gpd collection and secondary treatment system for a campground located south of the City of Santa Cruz. Treatment included a recirculating sand filter and subsurface effluent disposal system.

Graham Hill Estates, Santa Cruz, CA 1994
Prepared an alternative analysis evaluating a number of different methods of tertiary wastewater treatment and disposal for a small community near Santa Cruz, CA. Identified environmental impacts, cost factors, and technical feasibility issues associated with each alternative.

Silver Creek Valley Country Club, San Jose, CA 1990
Prepared the conceptual study of a 0.6 mgd tertiary wastewater reclamation system for evaluation by the City of San Jose. The concept proposed to intercept raw sewage in the City's existing collection system, import that sewage to the project site, and reclaim wastewater for golf course and common-area irrigation.

Gilroy Southwest Quadrant, Santa Clara County, CA 1988
A 1.5 mgd tertiary wastewater reclamation system was proposed for evaluation by the City of Gilroy. The project includes conveyance of raw wastewater from the City's regional plant to a satellite plant located in the southwest quadrant. The satellite plant will provide primary through tertiary treatment to facilitate use of the reclaimed effluent on a golf course, common-area landscaping, parkland, and sports fields.

Santa Clara Valley Water District, Santa Clara County, CA 1989
A non-potable water market study was completed for the Santa Clara Valley Water District. In response to drought related water shortages in the region, Allied Engineers, Inc. evaluated the potential for displacing potable groundwater deliveries to agricultural and industrial customers in the Gilroy area with non-potable water from alternative sources. These sources included imported raw water and locally available reclaimed wastewater effluent.

INDUSTRIAL PROJECTS - PLANNING/FEASIBILITY

Greenville Industrial Park, Alameda County, CA 1984
Planned a 0.12 mgd system to reclaim all wastewater generated by a proposed 280 acre light industrial park located east of the City of Livermore. Reclaimed effluent evaluated for use as irrigation water for common-areas and open space.

Huls America, Pleasanton, CA 1986
Developed a pretreatment concept for a paint pigment manufacturer located in the City of Pleasanton. Allowed manufacturing operation to remain in existing location by improving waste discharge to quality acceptable to the local sewer agency.
